The lady is indeed a masterpiece! Not a second fiddle. Not an afterthought of the father. Not a weak, simply emotional work of creation. Oh no I promise! Outwardly she is a rare sight- gorgeous, carefully put together creature. You could stare all day and still not have enough. Her body is simply an expression of God’s exquisite taste in beauty and his magnificent sculpting power that he demonstrated in some other creation as well but clearly emphasized in a lady. Moreover, the body houses the spirit for as long as she remains on the earth and it certainly needs to be kept in its perfect or at least optimal state. Her body is so special to God that scripture reminds us “I wish above all things that thou prosper and be in good health (The body) even as thy soul (The Mind) prospers”
If you thought for a moment that her body was all there was to this masterpiece, then you need to meet her mind! Arguably the most elastic thing you could imagine. You literally could subject it to the fiercest fire yet it finds a way to return to a place of strength. Lol you ever heard that if a man was given the opportunity of child birth experience, he wouldn’t go a second time? lol. The lady would go as many times as she is required to, feel the pain over again and act like it was nothing. Her mind is the symbol of strength, tenacity and productivity yet she is blessed to accomplish all this with the most graceful demeanor.

One of the most privileged sight ever, is seeing this lady with the most charming body and versatile mind, interact with someone else, completely different from her, building a formidable bond with him – Her Man. A whole different being, wired differently with the ability to navigate life strongly on his own terms. The enchanting sight of these two and their interaction is truly magical. The partnership is incredible when successful!. The experience following that successful union is unbelievable amidst the hard work that makes for a flourishing relationship/marriage! Her Man eventually becomes an integral part of the lady, so much so that they start to look like each other after a while, a fulfilment of scriptures “and so shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife”.
THE BATTLE…
I bet you see the unique importance of the lady’s body, her mind and her man. Yet, ORDER is a fundamental part of life and ORDER in the lady’s life is of immense significance. The real question is which part of lady should be considered superior or at least prioritized in terms of how much effort she puts into nurturing it. See it this way – every part impacts her in profound ways. Issues with her body would eventually impact her mind and confidence. Her mind however can be trained to withstand bodily issues or at least mitigate its impact. An assault on her mind can on the other hand impact her body and health as a “Merry heart is medicine to the body”. A healthy mind would almost always equate a healthy body and by extension, a happy life!. A challenge with the mind would also negatively impact her dealings with her Man. Likewise, a challenge with her man has the ability to mess with her mind but just like her body, the mind can be trained to effectively handle the impact of a brawl with her man.
When we were instructed to “Guard your heart (The mind) with all diligence for out of it comes the issues of life”, we were being handed the secret of order and principle of productivity. If her mind is given the needed emphasis, if it is filled with the right information and trained extensively, it has the capacity to withstand the most potent breaking forces and it ends up influencing her overall experiences with her body, her man and literally every aspect of her life! Frankly, the real issue here, is how to skillfully train the mind to handle all of life’s issues like heartbreaks, complex problems, depression, identity crisis, delay, financial mess, stagnation, success, failure, pretty much every negative and even positive experiences out of life.
